What counts as an Event at JAFAX?

We classify "Events" as anything run by staff that isn't a showing. This includes contests, game shows, tournaments, Opening/Closing Ceremonies, and Cosplay related gatherings. Panels and Showings have their own catagories as you can see to the left of the page. You will find all information on those subjects here as we move towards the actual event.

Info on JAFAX 17 Events:

This early in our yearly planning cycle we usually haven't nailed anything down when it comes to our schedule of events. We like to evaluate how the previous JAFAX's events went. We then consider if any events need to be cut or revised, and we like to try at least one new event every year. If you have any ideas or comments about this, head over to our events page on the forums to let us know. We will be posting more information on JAFAX 17's events in the coming months.
