Pokémon League Adventure

Attention all trainers! Back by popular demand the Pokémon League Adventure has once again opened its doors in the world of Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. Do you have what it takes to challenge our uniquely themed gym leaders and earn their badges? Can you collect enough badges to gain entry into the championship tournament? Only one can become the champion of JAFAX 2023, will it be you? Head over to the Pokémon League Adventure registration area in the game room for more information and to get started on your adventure. Detailed rules can be found here or via the QR code below.

The 2023 JAFAX Pokémon League will consist of two parts:

  1. The Gym Leader Challenge
  2. The JAFAX 2023 Pokemon League Championship

In the Gym Leader Challenge, participants must defeat JAFAX Gym Leaders and obtain their Badges. All participants with 6 or more Badges from distinct gym leaders will then be able to enter the Championship Tournament. Gym Leaders have the authority to make decisions on all questions or issues with competitors as they come up. The battle format may differ between gym leaders to provide fun and varied battle experiences.

Note: Trainers may change their team freely during the Gym Leader Challenge.

In the JAFAX 2023 Pokémon League Championship the format will be "Bring Six, Choose Three" Single Battles with Normal Rules (aka Battle Stadium Singles). This will be a Double Elimination Bracket, with each Match being best of three games, but it may be changed to Single Elimination if there is a need to accommodate an unexpectedly large number of finalists. The winner of this tournament will then be able to potentially challenge the winner of the JAFAX 2022 Pokemon League Championship if they are present to defend their title.

Note: Finalists may not change their team composition during the JAFAX 2023 Pokemon League Championship.

The JAFAX Pokémon League's mission is to provide a fun, challenging experience for both veteran and new Pokémon fans. The JAFAX Pokémon League is not endorsed or sponsored by Nintendo, Game Freak, or Pokémon Company.
